Kirsty joined Pre-School in September 2016. She holds a current Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for the Children and Young People’s Workforce – Early Years (Management), Level 3 Diploma in children’s learning and development (Early year’s educator). She has a full paediatric first aid qualification and her level 1 & 2 in safeguarding DLP. Kirsty is qualified in Speech & language, communication needs in supporting children (PECS) and Autism level 1 support. Kirsty has been on many courses including food hygiene, Behaviour management, allergy awareness, mathematics through continuous provision, implementing GDPR and prevent duty training. She is our DSL and SENDO (Special Educational Needs Designated Officer).
Jo started at Pre-School in May 2015. Jo is Level 5 as a Early years lead practitioner. She is a qualified paediatric first Aider & is qualified DSL Safeguarding. Jo has been on many courses including Having fun with letters and sounds - Speaking and listening, endless possibilities, Prevent duty, manual handling, infection control, allergy awareness and food hygiene. Jo is our specialist in Speech and language and will take the lead if a child needs intervention in this area.
If Kirsty is not in Jo will take over the managers duties/roles along with The Pre-School team.
Kaci is level 3 qualified and started Pre-School in July 2022. Kaci has been on many courses including food hygiene, allergy awareness, Prevent duty, infection control, Effective Safeguarding, moving and handling, Effective first aid, speech, language and communication in early years, learning through play, equality and inclusion in Early years settings, social media marketing and securing consent and engagement with family.
Darcie gained her level 3 T-Level qualification in July 2025. Before this Darcie volunteered at Pre-School for many years around her studies. She is full paediatric first aid trained, done many course including infection control, understand the SEND code of practice, The essential role of the key person, Safeguarding, prevent duty, allergy awareness and many more from EYA learn.
Shannon started Pre- School in 2026. She has Level 3 BTEC in children's care, learning and development. She has done Safeguarding training, Prevent duty, safer sleeping, online safety, paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safety, manual handling and many more.
Joanne has been with Pre-School since 1995. Joanne is our Cultural lead, a qualified paediatric first Aider & is qualified to Level 2 Safeguarding. Joanne has been on many courses including Behaviour training, Prevent duty, endless possibilities, infection control and food hygiene.
